He opened the door, then locked it as Cornflower walked out. "Boy, it must have been one big bird to frighten Sand," He said, walking down to great hall (let's pick up there. I'll make the post)

It startled Hazel. He jumped the turned around with a frown. "Who the heck is Mangnom the Traitor?" He asked, a slight frown on his face. Sand stood up and stood by him, and said, "mangnom? Interesting...." The little thief said, twidling with her sash.

John proped himself up on his one good arm. "Mangnom is the bird who told the Marlfox where I was living with my family." "You see we were once allies, but after one fight he was badly injured." "I had tried to get to him to help him but had to retreat, I was being chased by 30 vermin." John then shook his head. "It seems he thought I abandomed him and has been tring to kill me ever since."

Hazel nodded. "Hmm, I'm sure. He said he was going to be back, and that we wouldn't see the last of him," Haze said, shaking his head.

Hazel looked at him grimly. "I suppose it will be alright..." He said, then turned his head as a small paw knocked on the door. Sand looked to Hazel then opened the door, and a little mousebabe ran in. Sand rushed and grabbed her quickly, and the little mousebabe giggled uncontrolably. "Where do you think you are going, yew liddle scamp?" Sand said, sitting down on the bed. Clover, as she had been called since her parents died, giggled. "Me wannt a kee grit biddy!" She said, giggling as Hazel picked her up. "I don't think you are going to be 'keeing any grit biddy!" He said as he tickled her. She laughed, then wriggled free of his grasp. She climbed onto one of the beds and began jumping on it, as she laughed.

Hazel and Sand shook their heads at the anticts of the little mousemaid. Clover caught sight of Hazel's sword, hanging on a chair where he had put it. Clover's eyes got wide as she jumped off the bed and ran to the sword. She climbed on the chair, and tried to lift the sword out of it's sheath. "Hazel, I was just thinking, when that liddle one grows up, those Marlfoxes had better be loooooooong gone," Sand said, smiling. Hazel stood up and put the sword on the floor. Clover gave him a pouty look, then jumped down and tried again. She found a way to get it out: Pull with all your might. She toppled over a few times, but she kept trying. She finally got the sword out of it's sheath, then Sand picked her up. Hazel picked up the sword and put it away. "Can't have you cutting yourself, now could we?" He said, smiling at her. Clover slitted her eyes and gave a pouty look. "Oh, don't give us that look, Clover." Sand said, putting her down on the bed. She suddenly giggled and took off, running out of the infirmary. Hazel shook his head. " She's a troublesome liddle scamp, that un," He said, laughing.
