Abbess Kipcha was sitting down for breakfast, sitting little Horden in her lap, there some oat scones with honey and cream, pancakes covered in syrup, she waited for the otherbeasts to come, ((Just so you know, i'm not very good at grace's, so if yer want yer food u'll have to pm me with one  ) |

Many seasons we toil,
Granting us with this food 'pon our table,
We are thankful for this day,
Let us all rest and eat this food. Sorry I'm bad at making prayers too. We should just use it for now.)
Hazel and Sand sat beside each other, and Hazel put on a grim face. "Abbess Kipcha, there is a band of Marlfoxes at the gate," He said, as Sand nodded.

"Marlfoxes?Oh dear, well, Marlfoxes can't be trusted so i think they'll siege us pretty soon but for now lets eat!" she said, Little Horden seeing it was time to eat grabbed a scone and began nibbling on it. "Ho!Brekkers is it? You could have waited!" said Zamoran laughing as he sat next to Abbess Kipcha, "Mmmm this smells good!", he grabbed a few scones and some nutbread.

Hazel and Sand smiled at Clover's anticts. She had crawlen under the table, and went over to Abbess Kipcha's footpaw. She pinched it, just as Hazel grabbed her. As he was coming up, he banged his head, making a big BANG noise. Plates clattered as he sat Clover on his lap, rubbing a fair bump on his head. "Well, see what your trouble does to poor me? You'll have me grey before my time, Clover!" Hazel said. Sand tried not to laugh, placing a paw over her mouth. Even though Clover was adopted, and not Hazel's real daughter, he still cared a great deal about her. "Well," He started to say, as he grabbed a piece of Nutbread. "I figure the Marlfoxes will, as you say, siege us. But I know a few in the bunch, there is Seranula and her three sisters and brother, and one that Sliteye knows. THere is also a weasle, I have a few good squirrel archers at the wall tops in case they try anything" Hazel said, rubbing the bump on his head.

Kipcha had to stifle laughter, Zamoran almost choked on a piece of nutbread, a server walked carrying a plate with the grayling on it, "Ahhh theres me pretty!" he said slicing some, Horden had climbed onto the back of Kipcha's chair and in one leap was on the back of Hazel's chair and climbed onto the table, his plate held by his tail he sat down on a chair next to Hazel and began nibbling some honeyed scone. He looked at Clover and beckoned her over

Clover laughed, and crawled over Hazel's lap and over to Horden. She began nibbling on a scone with hot honey on it, then put it down. She put the scone down, and her mouth was smothered by honey, as well as her paws. Hazel tried not to laugh, as he took a handkerchief and wiped her off. The little mousebabe the picked up her scone and began eating it again. Sand sighed. "What is it going to take to get through her?" She said, smiling and shakeing her head

Horden finished his scone and Zamoran poured him and Clover some strawberry fizz, "Stawbee fiss!" said Horden in a sqeaky voice, Kipcha laughed "Hahahah his first word is strawberry fizz, reminds me of someone..." glances at Zamoran, Zamoran tried to ignore it and nibbled on a scone

Hazel tried not to laugh, same as Sand. Clover smiled. She had never spoken before. "Stawburr fick!" She said, and Hazel could not help laughing. He put on a stern, serious face. "Oh yes, you drink up all your Stawburr fick!" He said, ruffling the little mousebabes ears (gotta go, adios, mate's!)

Little Clover sat on her adopted father's lap. Hazel smiled fondly at her, then asked John, "How is your arm feeling? We are going right back up to the battlements directly after breakfast," He said, Sand smiling. "I hope those Marlfoxes don't try anything funny," She said, eyes cold at the thought of them

John nodded at Hazel. "Getting better, soon I will be able to take revenge on that tratoris fox." He then looked down at the little dibbon. "Hello little one my name is john what is your name?"

Horden was drinking some fizz, thenhe starting eating another scone, Zamoran was drinking some October ale, and wolfing down scones faster than an army of hares

Hazel fumbled Clover's ears. "Yes, well. I'll be there to help you, I recognized that foxes band. That's Seranula and her three sisters and a brother. He's a fierce one that Glimintio." He said, when Clover looked up at John. "Mi an ee Clova..." She said, sniffing. Hazel smiled. "Her name is Clover, and that little wolf pup is Horden," He said, smiling fondly

Horden looked at him as soon as he mentioned his name, still chewing his scone, Zamoran swallowed his scone, "One day he'll be a great warrior!"
